Twitter Be Gone

I’ve officially kicked that particularly bad platform!

It’s such a relief to be rid of it. If you’re still debating whether to stay or not, consider this your encouragement to abandon it like I did.

I’m taking up residence on Bluesky instead! Don’t miss a podcast or a stream when you follow me on there.

Hope to see you there!

This podcast has been in the works for some time, but I’m finally approaching a point where I feel comfortable about launching. Yes!

I was largely aiming to get some of those pesky smaller details out of the way: graphics, social media set-up, etc. However, I also hoped to find my stride with recording these podcasts. My first recordings were rather fast-paced (because I talk quickly when I’m excited). I also wanted to make sure that I had a full season’s worth of material ready to produce which will making voting for my next episodes easier on Patreon.

Here I am on the cusp of launching and now the Netflix version of Avatar: The Last Airbender is about to drop. I was originally aiming for my first episode to be a story analysis of Encanto. But if there’s one maxim about doing culturally prescient topics, it’s doing them when there’s actual active interest in such things.

Release Update

Depending upon how the podcast works out, I can increase or decrease the number of episodes as needed. I hope I won’t need to though.

Still unknown when the podcast will officially launch. I will diligently continue to write and record. Thank you for your support!

Now, originally, I was planning for The Literary Machine to update once a month, so that I might more easily produce episodes. However, I am currently stockpiling episodes and I think it would be much kinda to you, the audience, to change the schedule to once every two weeks, 10 episodes per season.

It’s alive!

And the website is…about 95% done. Only took 6 hours of pulling hair, gnashing teeth, and sacrificing a goat to the blood gods to make WordPress cooperate. How does anyone get WordPress to function let alone half the Internet? I swear, this website builder is held together with string and prayer.

Still, the actual podcast has yet to launch. As of writing this, I have 2 fully recorded episodes, 3 finalized scripts, about 5 more in the works, and perhaps a dozen ideas for more episodes.

Still, this was a big hurdle and it has been officially crossed! Hallelujah! Now to figure out where to host the podcast… Still haven’t settled on a place.
